Adblocker

The adblocker feature works like a champ, not folding in the face of any ad I have seen yet. My only other experience with "proxy server" based ad blocking is with Untangle. Sophos seems to take a bit longer to block a Youtube ad than Untangle did. What could be causing this? 

I thought it might be the Antivirus scanning but that is disabled on video streams unless this somehow does not fall into that category.

    which ad blocker feature? What software do you use for adblocking?

    I suppose I could have defined that better. I was talking about the Web Ad's category under the URL filtering which I have added to a group I call "Adware blocker"

    So that is what is doing all of the blocking for all of the ads I see on a day to day basis with the exception of Youtube which is what this is about...I don't get the white blocked Sophos message..it just stays as a black screen on Youtube for about 5-10 seconds then plays the video. Untangle you barely even noticed it was blocking something...for comparison.
