ver 9 Application Control

Im playing sophos ver 9.100-16 features most esp to Application control.
According to my instructor using Application control can block http/s traffic.

I tried to blocked facebook chat using that features, however my facebook chat still working. Agian, I need to enable (Scan HTTPS (ssl) traffic under web filter and its pretty working.

However its so annoying (sophos cert) on those websites which uses https.

How do I use Application control to work effectively without enabling (Scan HTTPS (ssl) option?

    Hi, you are supposed to install the sophos certificate into the browsers. This can be done with Group Policy if you have a lot of PCs.
