ftp filtering on 9.x

In utm v9 the web filter proxy accepts ftp (and other)  connections....

is there any way to restrict ftp to a limited number of ftp servers or do I have to disable ftp in the web filter  proxy and use the built in frox ftp proxy instead?

    Sure you can.

    Enable ftp for specific servers in packet filter or FTP proxy and block all others :-)
    Or I did not got your problem .
