Apple iOS Youtube app not working with all video since update to 9.100-16

I upgraded to 9.100-16 on May 15, 2013 and then a couple of days later, I noticed my Apple iOS 6.1.3 Youtube 1.3.0 app stopped working for a lot but not all youtube videos ("playback error"). The only workaround for that was to put the iOS device into the skip transparency list, as turning off AV scanning did not help. I already had turned on "Bypass content scanning for streaming content" under Web Protection: Web Filtering:Advanced since before the upgrade.

I have attached the httpproxy log (zipped up to save space) showing excerpts of when the playback error occurred.

It seems the playback error would occur when the youtube video had an ad/commercial to play first. If the video did not have an ad, there was no problem.

I have since reverted the UTM firmware back to 9.006-5 (clean install and then restoring the backup of the config prior to upgrade and fiddling with the interfaces to my preference) and the problem disappeared.

Has anyone else seen this issue?

    I reverted back to 9.006-5 (using the ISO to clean install, then reload the backup before I upgraded). As you see in the image file attached - IMG_0240.jpg, the ad now loads correctly, allowing me to skip the ad or wait until the ad is finished and then proceeds to load the actual minutephysics video that I wanted to watch.

    Is there an ad blocking setting on the UTM?

    When I load the video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2yHDeKFW8j8) with Firefox on a desktop PC, there is no ad preempting so again, youtube knows that I am using a IOS app and is targeting me with location specific ads before playing the video. And this only seems to be a problem with the upgrade to 9.100-16 or higher.

    I finally figured out what was causing Youtube app in iOS to no longer show videos (getting stuck trying to show the ad). It was a setting in Web protection:Web Filtering: Advanced: MIME blocking inspects HTTP body. I had it turned on. The moment I turned it off, the youtube app started working properly.

    So far, this setting being off has served me well through subsequent updates.
