Apple iOS Youtube app not working with all video since update to 9.100-16

I upgraded to 9.100-16 on May 15, 2013 and then a couple of days later, I noticed my Apple iOS 6.1.3 Youtube 1.3.0 app stopped working for a lot but not all youtube videos ("playback error"). The only workaround for that was to put the iOS device into the skip transparency list, as turning off AV scanning did not help. I already had turned on "Bypass content scanning for streaming content" under Web Protection: Web Filtering:Advanced since before the upgrade.

I have attached the httpproxy log (zipped up to save space) showing excerpts of when the playback error occurred.

It seems the playback error would occur when the youtube video had an ad/commercial to play first. If the video did not have an ad, there was no problem.

I have since reverted the UTM firmware back to 9.006-5 (clean install and then restoring the backup of the config prior to upgrade and fiddling with the interfaces to my preference) and the problem disappeared.

Has anyone else seen this issue?

    Youtube iOS playback error still persists under 9.101-12. Turning off web cache, setting AV to single scan, turning off AV, turning off block unscannable and encrypted files, and setting up an exception to allow categories of web sites like Media Sharing, Streaming Media, Web Ads has not helped.

    I should mention that there are no issues in viewing the same videos on a PC/Mac, but the same video in Youtube iOS app does not work. I was using videos from minutephysics as my testing.

    Any way I can be helpful to the programmers by collecting some other sort of logs.

    I have attached two pictures that illustrate what the iOS Youtube app does when it tries to play via transparent proxy. IMAG_0235.PNG shows the video about to play. No ads (commercials) play just that opportunity to click more. Then IMG_0236.PNG shows the playback error occuring immediately after. Viewing the same video on a PC or Mac shows no ads. So Youtube determines that I am using the iOS app and tailors the ads to me. You can see that in the logs.
