Park Domain not allowed.

When one of our user did a search in Google for Fertizona and click on the results Fertizona | Grow the right way with Fertizona | Home Page it gets blocked; Parked Domain not allowed. Did not work with Dogpile either.  But is you type the URL into the browser directly it works. We have put the URL into Web Protection > Web Filtering > URL Filtering > Always allow these URLs/sites. I tried with IE and Firefox and the result were the same, blocked. 

However, using other search engines (MSN, Yahoo, Bing, Ask, etc) it does work with both browsers.

    Hi there - I noticed this too. It appears that whenever that its scanning the google link rather than the actual site.

    I had a entertainment block from a google link but going to the actual site works and is allowed.

    How do we report this bug?

    Hi matey, I think I may have the reason. For some reason if you have a rule in URL Exceptions it uses the default web protection rather than pweb protection filtering polices/profiles.

    When you add a link into the URL exception make sure to check by pass check for URL filtering (see picture)

    I upgraded to 9.100-16 and following the Google link for the same website that was parked, now works

    I still ran into another Park Domain, What I did find is that under URL Filtering Category, Suspicious, Parked Domain is listed. I had to create an exception or remove Parked Domain from the Suspicious category for the website to work. I chose to created the exception.

    This is only a work around, it did not correct the problem of the valid website was being blocked because it was being recognized as a Parked Domain.

    Yes this is where to disable the filter, but you asked about a site that you added as an exception?

    You should havr asked how to disable parked domains block all together...
