make sense the activation of "Scan HTTPS (SSL) Traffic" just for antivirus purpose?

I mean the HTTPS SSL connection should be only from trusted sources and so free from viruses right?

Than actual web browsers put big warnings when trying to accept a non trusted https connection.

And I suppose nothing change from the eventual intrusion/firewall matter.

    Any site can potentially host a virus. Also, anyone can buy an SSL cert, including malicious persons.

    If you're getting warnings, you didn't install your Astaro cert into your browsers. I believe you can use Group Policy to push that out to your Windows clients, if you don't want to do it by hand.

    Thank you Barry, the problem are not the warnings, I have already installed the Cert into the browser.
    What I see is that many connection of many trusted programs are using SSL, and all these programs have problems if I turn on the SSL for example Skype but not only and many many others also Thunderbird use SSL.

    So I was thinking maybe is not so necessary to use the SSL virus scan, because in the majority of cases connection on SSL are trusted.

    You know if statistically Astaro appliances have found many virus during SSL scan? I'm not sure but I believe almost none.
