Google Safe Search not working AU and US

Hi,

Google Safe Seach is not working in our UTM device. we are running firmware 9.004-34 and based from Australia.

Interestingly, tried bing and yahoo safe search and it automatically block the intended content when trying to search. (seems to be ok).

further troubleshooting found that this does not happen to ALL google search. a random pick of google.co.uk and google.co.id shows that safesearch seems to be working.

google.com (US) and google.com.au (AU) is the one that is having issue. unfortunately, our ISP has redirection automatically for google to use google.com.au where the safesearch is not working.

    still not clear unfortunately, i have tested this with standard or transparent mode. i thought when the option for Google SafeSearch is set to ON. it enforces it regardless what your proxy setting is and regardless of your country google is set to.

    EDIT: ** further investigation found that Google Safe Seach is actually working, however some of our clients have signed in to google services (e.g. gmail) and remain signed in via cookies. These users have explicitly set to have google safe search turned OFF from their google account. This setting carry on to whichever computer they signed on and overrides the Google Safe search in Astaro and defeat the true purpose of setting safe search via Astaro.

    This deduction is tested by having the same users to sign out from their account and trying to browse again and the theory proven correct. what now interests me and yet to be proven is if same rule is actually applicable to users who signed up with yahoo or microsoft services. i do not know if there is also capability to override safe search from these services.
