Podcast App problem

Trying to understand why my android podcast app can't perform certain searches or queries when it's scanned by the web filter in transparent mode. I'm not scanning https.

I see nothing from the source ip in the firewall and ips logs and the only entry in the web filter log down below. It looks like a good request that was passed... am I missing something? You can see that i've even already added exclusions to the podkicker.com domain for av,content,url. The only solution is to bypass the filter for this device.

    I just noticed that that's a POST.  Are you sure there isn't something shortly after that line related to what you were requesting?

    Nothing, that is the only line I get and simply where everything stops. I cannot find anything logged that is blocking... Not in the firewall, IPS, or web filter log.

    Hi,

    I'm new to Sophos, but my girlfriend was having issues downloading podcasts for her iPhone and the way I resolved it was adding the site she was downloading podcasts from to the list of exceptions for the web filtering.  Since then, she can download podcasts again.  

    The frustrating thing is that nothing was written anywhere in the logs as to why the access was blocked, but at least there is a solution :-)
