Certificate Issue

Hi 
I have been using astaro for three or four years now and have been upgrading as the upgrades were available these were done from fresh installs and my old configuration files then inported.
Currently I am running utm9 and I can not change any of my settings in the web filtering section the error is 
"The http->ca_list configuration needs certificate objects."
As I am only a home user I am a little out of my depth I have tryed playing with the certificates following an very old post with no luck.
If anyone could help me with this it would be appreciated.
As a last resort I will reload and start again but there is a lot of time in entering all my info back in as this has many firewall rules and is running as a local dns/ntp/dhcp server.

    I would try a reload fresh install and not import any settings and see if it allows you to change the web filtering settings. First if this possible could possibly be a corrupted import of your backup file.  But let’s see what other people have to say. But that is my suggestion for now trial by error.

    Hi, Gary, and welcome to the User BB!

    I agree with Michael - it's either a bad load of the software or a faulty V8 backup.  Try a restore from a different backup first - especially if you have a known-good one.

    Thanks for the input as I said I may have to do a reload I think ill wait for a day or two for more posts to see what else turns up, As it is a bit of work and ill have no internet at all while I do it.

    Is there a way of printing to a PDF or txt file the configuration so I can copy some of my config back in the same as it is now ? just to save time.

    I moved my system to a new server when I jumped from v8 to UTM so interfaces ect have all changed from previous backups.

    I believe I have seen a print configuration choice under the management drop down. I might be mistaken.

    Https ca Certificate is maybe is not included in the backup, and even if
    and you changed the machine too
    In Web Protectiion > Web Filtering in the last tab HTTPS CAs you can generate one

    I still notice some times using HTTPS and SSL scanning the tunnels will close or be reset by peer. Any idea what causes this?

    Hello and thank you for the help
    I did try to re-generate the certs wiht no effect but the setup a few days latter 
    started to became unstable so with no internet access I had nothing to loose 
    so i reinstalled from scratch all is up and running again now and it is faster than it has been for a long time with lower pings for gaming.
    It some times is worth the hassel to reinstall so you know there are no bugs left behind 
    I still have some config to do but all in good time.
