content filtering magic

just exactly who and where does the content filters come from? Is there a way to get a list of what is filtered ie dating/personals VS dating/social networking.

Hi, the current system is
TrustedSource from McAfee (who acquired Secure Computing).

You can test URLs at
TrustedSource - Check Single URL

Choose 'SmartFilter XL' in the dropdown list.

Note that Astaro is now owned by Sophos and will be switching to Sophos' URL filter system in upcoming versions.
