Adobe Updater/Installer Blocked

Good morning!

I have a school full of teachers that need to update Flash.  Astaro is throwing the error "Target service not allowed". The initial installer download works fine.

Has anyone else experienced this issue, and have found a fix for it?

    I think the Adobe updater does not play very well with av scanning of the asg. Did you tray to add an exception that skips av scan for those url's?

    Those two lines are for separate services; the first one shows a proper exception in place for the download... the second -- it's using a loopback address, and service port 2159 ... that's due to something else.  For future reference, if you are accessing a website and get "target service not allowed" add the service port definition to the Allowed Target Services list in the Advanced tab of the HTTP/S Proxy configuration.

    Check your IPS and /or Application Control logs to make sure it's not blocking your Adobe download(s).

    Also:  It appears your proxy settings in your web browser are misconfigured; it should not be trying to use a proxy for a loopback address to start with.
