Standard Proxy - Lose Admin Site Access

Hello,
I'm working to better understand the use of a standard proxy, and have something I can't quite figure out how to properly configure.

When I setup web protection as a standard proxy, and configure my browser to use the proxy over 8080, I find I can no longer access the web admin site at port 4444. I imagine this is because the browser is sending everything to Sophos on 8080, and so this doesn't work.

What's the proper way to configure things in this scenario?

You have an option in browser like:
Dont use proxy for local ip's 192.168.2.0

Speaking about scenario, is better to use transparent mode. In this way you don't need to configure the browser's in clients, and no need to make firewall rules for http & https traffic

You have to be clear how users will connect in internet and who will have permisions to connect, and than will be easy work with Astaro

That's easy enough.

I'm looking to use standard mode to take advantage of AD-SSO (which doesn't seem to be working [:(]) and AD groups for access control. Hopefully I'm on the right track.
