when does the web-proxy automatically flush its content?

Hi there,

i know that i can flush the content of the webfilter manually!
But how does the filter handle the flushing of websites automatically?

In other words:
when does the filter renew its content? (daily?, weekly?, monthly?)

Thanks in Advance!

Cheers
Lars

  • Hey Bob,

    thanks for your quick reply.
I know that i can do this or that i can turn it off completely but on which automatic policy is the caching in the proxy based?

Or does the proxy cache delete the cached webpages not before the cache hdd space is completely full?

Or to make it more clear:
when i open a webpage, when does the cache renew the webpage?

    Cheers
