iPhone Video| Web Proxy

I noticed when my iPhone goes via the UTM Web Proxy.

Video Playing would be a problem.

Example:

1) YouTube App - Click on a video and it shows General Error regardless of the quality.

2) Video inside Facebook - Shows the Play with a / across it to show cannot play.

3) Video inside Safari Browser on websites - Play (Triangle) symble with a / to show cannot play.

I am sure it is due to Web Proxy as if I by pass it - everything works.

Ideally I would like the Web Proxy to protect me against malicious likes ( hey at least the Ad Blocking does remove most ads)

Any Idea?

    Same here... well: similar. 

    My sophos firewall 9.100-16 blocks iTune podcast "downloads" to iPhone & iPad as well as some video streams e.g from ProSieben.de - TV Programm .
    Funny: it doesn't block on PCs. .. and it might happen only in transparent proxy mode.

    This behavor must have had started around astaro version 6.5 or 7 maybe.

    However, disabling virus scanning solves the issue. .. yes, bypassing streaming content is thicked.

    I've spent a lot of time with that issue investigating as the logs don't tell about blocked content or similar. At least it doesn't speak to me [[:)]]

    The only thing within all logs I've found (example of podcast download that doesn't work): 
    2013:05:28-20:37:58 Failwall httpproxy[26497]: id="0001" severity="info" sys="SecureWeb" sub="http" name="http access" action="pass" method="GET" srcip="192.168.x.x" dstip="193.218.103.220" user="" statuscode="200" cached="0" profile="REF_DefaultHTTPProfile (Default Proxy)" filteraction="REF_DefaultHTTPCFFAction (Default content filter action)" size="66101" request="0xc9b4068" url="podcastsource.sf.tv/.../x-m4v" application="http"


    Unfortunately, I haven't found a way to add an exception somewhere (exception list, skip list, web blocking list, filter list): so if a solution is know I'd very appreciate to learn about.

    Maybe I'd be allowed to report a bug? [[:)]]
