Google and Firefox

Hi there,

can anyone help me with the following problem:

I have an astaro 9.003.16 with webfilter and HTTPS-Scanning on!

When i use the search field for google in firefox (positioned right in the top bar), there are two certificate warnings, one for google.com and one for google.de. This frustrates most of my users, because even if i download the certificate into firefox, the warning comes up again every time i restart firefox!

This repeats for EVERY website with HTTPS-Links!

Is it possible to deactivate the warning messages WITHOUT making exceptions in the webfilter settings? Can i import certificates into the sophos?

Or do i have to deactivate the whole HTTPS-Scanning for the web filter?

Thanks in advance!

Lars

  • You have to import the Proxy CA of your UTM into your Clients' browsers.
You will find it under http://passthrough.fw-notify.net/cacert.pem
