Web filtering is not passing flash detection for starfall.com

So the whole reason why I am running a UTM is because I have setup a computer lab for my kids.

Starfall's Learn to Read with phonics requires Adobe flash player to be installed for the website to work correctly.  However, even though flash player is installed, starfall.com complains that it is not.  I've tried IE and Firefox without success.  Additionally, starfall.com also does not correctly detect the browser version.  I realize that the UTM web filter is most likely stripping this visibility, so my question is:

Where/how do I begin to troubleshoot this problem?  I'm looking for something in between holding my hand on how to fix and also explaining why it is failing to help me understand the underpinnings of the UTM.

Currently the UTM is in transparent mode if that is a factor ..

    Monitor the web filtering live log while loading the page to see if anything is being blocked.  You may also want to check the intrusion prevention log.

    The web filtering log indicated it was passing everything requested of it and I have Intrusion Prevention turned off.

    The culprit ended up being the option "Remove embedded objects (ActiveX/Java/Flash)".  I am trying to add starfall.com as exception under Web Filtering > Transparent mode skiplist but I cannot seem to get it right.  The description says that "IPs, URLs and Networks listed here will not be subject to the transparent interception of HTTP/S traffic", but the menu option seem to be slanted toward names of a host and/or an IP address.

    Am I missing something?
