I've got a network running Windows Server and Active Directory with 1/2 of the clients running Windows 7 and the rest running Mac OSX. I want to use the Sophos UTM with Web Protection to lock down and monitor users activity by user. This is easy to do for the Windows Workstations by using the Authentication Agent or Proxy with AD Single SignOn.
What I can't figure out is the best why to Authenticate the Mac OSX workstations. No Authentication Agent Available (Fail From Sophos), Proxy would require that they sign on using the prompt box and browser authentication would ask them to logon each time they open a browser.
There is no Mac OSX Server running Open Directory and the Macs are not joined to the Windows Domain.
Ideas anyone? I would like to use the Sophos UTM for this client, but they don't want logon windows for Internet Access.
