New owner of an ASG unit here, and I'm encountering a curious issue with my Proxy Profiles.
Currently I have two employee groups, admins and users. There groups were created with my SSO. Testing out users of these groups in Definitions & Users -> Authentication Servers -> Servers -> Edit shows that the user accounts are authenticating correctly to the AD.
I have Proxy Profiles created for each of these groups, with restrictions defined uniquely for each. They are both opearting in Standard mode with ADSSO for authentication. Users are able to navigate the Internet at this point.
However, when I look in the web filtering logs, ALL employees are authenticating against the Admin Proxy Profile. If the employee is an Admin, they correctly grab the filter assignment associated with that Proxy Profile. If the employee is NOT an admin, then the employee does NOT check the next proxy profile Instead, it uses the assigned "Fallback action." To be totally clear, le tme illustrate.
We have USER A, USER B, USER C, ADMIN A, and ADMIN B.
We have ADMIN PROXY and USER PROXY
We have ADMIN FILTER and USER FILTER
When any of the five users access the Internet, they all use ADMIN PROXY. ADMIN A and ADMIN B are assigned the ADMIN FILTER and USER A, B, and C are assigned the USER FILTER.
In terms of their actual surfing experience, the users are currently seeing the correct filters. However, because they are only hitting one Proxy Profile, if I ever want to have more granual control over individual users (the whole point of doing ADSSO), then I am currently unable to.
