I have the http proxy setup for transparent mode.
I have a list of wow sites in both exceptions and bypass.
I have IE setup to use the proxy and prior to tonight it was setup for automatic discovery.
All the game traffic is going through the proxy according to the proxy log and none goes through the firewall. The sites in the proxy log are the same as those in the proxy bypass.
The dashboard shows twice as much being downloaded as being sent to the PC.
I am at a loss with this stupid game - wow. As far as the downloads went the user was just too impatient and misled by an error message from the game.
