How to use the cloud cffs instead of memory

Hi folks,
I currently use the memory setup and the closest CFFS is 10 with between 70 and 120ms.

I would like to try the cloud version to see if that is any quicker and what other affects it might have.

Please advise what commands I need to implement a cloud based cffs.

cc set http sc_local_db none
/var/mdw/scripts/httpproxy restart

This will disable usage of the Local Content Filter Database.

Hi Scott,
thank you. The change doesn't appear to have an change in surfing performance. The memory usage has dropped about 20%. When I disabled IPS and web proxy the swap also dropped and stayed down after the proxy and IPS were re-started. Chasing a game connection issue.

Hi, Non WEB-based (non-http) games should be configured to not go through the proxy.

Hi Barry,
that is the problem, it doesn't fully bypass the proxy. I use a group to provide the site list for the proxy bypass, I was wondering if the groups don't work properly in the bypass function.

I will be entering the site individually to see if that improves the situation. WOW used to work, so I am not sure what went wrong.
