Web filtering home user - reports?

Hi,

I've been a user of Astaro home user license for 12 months or so now.  Up until now I've not needed to restrict any web site categories.  However I now want to proactively stop the kids from accessing **** or extriemest sites etc.

The blocking is working fine, and the daily report confirms if/when blocks have occured.

I'd like though to know more details, i.e. which source address (in my network) tried to access which website or domain.  Is that possible please?  I cannot find the option in any of the reports.  I know I can retrospectively view the contents of the log files, ideally i'd like a report or notification mail though?

    Hi, yeleek, and welcome to the User BB!

    There's no proactive alert, but you can easily see what was blocked for a specific user.

    • In 'Logging & Reporting >> Web Security', at the upper-right, select reporting by Users.
    • Double-click the user for which you want a report and select the view by Urls.
    • Next, at the left, select, for example "Yesterday."
    • Click on the +, select "Action" and "Blocked."
    • Now, you can save this report to use it instantly tomorrow.  Click on the small, blue, disk symbol to the right of 'Available reports', name the report and save it.  In the future, it will be one of the available reports.
