Akamai Netsession Service ... requires authentication

Hello,

we have set up a profile which is asking for a login on several web-categorys. However since this a popup comes up asking for proxy authentication for akamai netsession service.
Is there anything I can do to get rid of that?
I could not find out which category causes this error. However I configured the UTM to not reject several akamai urls. This did not help so far.

I think akamai service is used by different products for updating.

Anyone having the same issues with akamai netsession service and has managed to get rid of this messages?.

    What mode is the Profile in - Standard with Basic authentication?

    Version 8.305?

    Please show a line or two from the Web Filtering log to demonstrate what the UTM is "thinking" when this occurs.

    First thanks for the welcome. I am glad to be here since we startet with UTM not long ago. Have managed different Firewalls and UTM Solutions (Checkpoint, Intranator, IP-Cop, McAfee SCM ...) so far, but Sophos UTM is new.

    We have UTM Version 9.
    The Profile which counts for normal users is FilterAction-Standard.
    Modus: Blacklist
    Blocked categories:
    -CriminalActivities
    -Drugs
    -ExtremisticSites
    -GamesGambles
    -Nudity
    -Suspicious
    -Video and P2P
    -Weapons
    Spyware: blocked
    Extensions blocked: msi,com,bat,vbx,hta,inf,jse,wsh,vbs,vbe,lnk,chm,pif,reg,scr,cmd,exe,iso
    Antivirus-Scan: simple

    Hope this helps so far. Web Filtering log is coming as soon, as I am at work.

    I searched the log several times. There is no entry listet in the logs. Seems this akamai netsession service does not generate an entry in the logs (maybe because it is a service and so no user can be logged?). Only when you enter wrong login credentials it generates an entry. This loginprompt appears only on some PCs from time to time and we can not reproduce it in time on our own machines for testing. We therefore now decided to set this service to manual startup via Enteo. No service means no loginprompt. And our users are satisfied so far.
    If I find a way to reproduce this error on my desktop by myself I will continue testing.
