[9.000-8] Http proxy not running - restarted constantly

I did an upgrade as I stayed current with the beta and would just be surfing the internet on my computer when Internet Explorer would just stop working, which took out weather widgets etc. However, my Opera browser would still function with no problems. 

I just created a new virtual machine with the latest Astaro ISO on my ESXi 5 server and restored my latest backup. Again, I am still getting [INFO-141] Http proxy not running - restarted e-mails. 

The only thing I can do is log in to Astaro and disable Web Filtering globally and I can start surfing again. These e-mails usually come maybe 20 minutes after I re-enable Web Filtering and sometimes not until 24 hours later but it I never had this problem in v8. 

Just as I went to post this message, Pandora said DNS timeout and my IE went down, I only got here by turning off Web Filtering.

    Where would I find those? 


    This is just what happened this morning when trying to check the forums. Which forces me to turn off Web Filtering for a few minutes just so I can go online.

    "DNS resolution timeout"

    Just a guess. - You are using the Proxy in a "Standard" mode and your DNS setup needs to be tickled.  If you think that might be the case, [Go Advanced] below and attach pictures of any DNS tab with content you've added/changed.

    Actually it is in Transparent Mode with Scan HTTPS (SSL) Traffic enabled and set to only my internal network and VPN Pool.

    Did you import the https certificate into your computer(s) cert store as trusted?

    I got the same problem with proxy in transparent mode. The new proxy release (9.001) did not solve the issue. The sophos support is still searching....

    Yes, all the machines have the cert installed as trusted




    I turned off IPv6 in Astaro and it seems to have resolved my issue, I haven't had any issues with IE now since I have turned it off. 
    Not sure if that is a perm solution or not but it works so better then it was before.
