slow loading of flash websites only

Hi,

My users informed me, that some, yes just some flash websites are pretty slow to load....this websites loads quick from other networks!
I tried to exclude those from antivirus, and all other + also tried to disable the caching, checked the intrusion protection logs....but no logs, no idea anymore ;-( 

Does someone has an idea?

    If you can post a example site which is slow, we could investigate. Sometimes overloaded sites with tons of linked webtrackers an ad stuff also may slow down website loading.

    Which browser did you use? try once Firefox or chrome ( fast browsers) with noscript addon to block most of those embedded ad and webtracker stuff...

    But a problem URL may help to track down this issue ;o)

    I've checked this website with firefox, chrome, ie, safari, on linux, windows, osx. The main problem is that this website is the homepage of the company. This website is only behind their astaro slow.

    Thank you for the PM'ed URL.

    I guess the Problem is the Website itself, how it's built.

    To open the Site it doesn't load many items, but I also never have seen such a 1,5 MB huge single .php file (see in the Log, last line). I also didn't find out the size of the used Flash .swf. But a that huge site is - depending on your internetconnection per se slow. Also your UTM has to scan a 1,5MB PHP, which takes some time (and therefor also delays the flash from beeing displayed).

    I'm not a Webdesigner, but probably there's surely potential to optimize the website. I've tested it using WebPagetest - Website Performance and Optimization Test , which confirmed me, that the large PHP is the brake pad of this site, and a first full page load takes ~6,5s [;)]

    So I guess this is not Astaro related, this is simply a website with optimization potential...

    Thanks for your check and reply. 
    I agree with your feedback, but unfortunately I'm not the webdesigner and the performance issue occurs about 3 weeks ago, the website hasn't changed since years....One of my first idea was to exclude this domain/host for a.virus, etc. checks...without any changes which is strange anyways. Behind this astaro box it takes about up to 7 second for loading and for example with a notebook with umts about 2 seconds - hmmm.

    So I guess this is a astaro issue!?
