Typical Blockage?

I've recently really started paying attention to "Today's Threat Status". I have about 15 devices on my home network. Recently I've been seeing about 800 URL's filtered per day and around 4,000 to 8,000 packets filtered. Is this typical results? I'm trying to determine if there is something I'm doing wrong or if this is what I should expect.  Currently I block Suspicious sites excluding web ads, criminal activities, drugs, extremistic sites, nudity,weapons, and of course Spyware infection and communication. The firewall I have adjusted to let certain services through such as Xbox Live, and Spotify. Thanks in advance.

    Firewall logs are interesting because the ports being blocked don't seem to have any specific uses. It seems that http://r.skimresources.com/api is used on Wordpress blogs for advertising. Is there anyway to figure out why it is marked as a Malicious Site. I don't want to allow it if there is something that is going to hurt me on the site.
