target service not allowed

I am trying to get to a few news sites which are allowed through my proxy profile but for whatever reason it comes up and is giving me the message "target service not allowed." im not sure what service it is referring to as it doesn't tell you what service that it is blocking

any insite would be greatly appreciated

    the url that it is looking at and not allowing is our websense reporting server that we are migrating from but still have in place. not sure why its even doing anything as i am out of websense completely for this test

    You need a service definition for the custom port 15871. After that add the new definition as an allowed service.

    To elaborate on what the above poster said, add the service in question as an allowed target service under the advanced tab of the web security section in webadmin.

    ok i added it as a new service definition under the advanced tab and pointed the source port as being 1:15871 and the destination as being 8080 and had the same results, also tried 80 as the destination port and got the same results. what am I missing here

    The destination port should be 15871 and the source port as 1:65535.

    that worked for whatever reason though even though im completely out of websense filtering its still is going through that url for a continue, however when i remove the proxy settings that point to the astaro, i am not hitting that url which points to websense, it seems to be that the astaro is not handling that url correctly and im not sure as to why its not

    Hi, Astaro not work like Websense does, You must apply the changes that Scott told You, it's very easy.

    Justin, now that you have the 'Allowed target services' issue resolved, it's time to look at the log file again.  Are you still getting the statuscode="403" error?

    I'm confused that you would obfuscate the IP/FQDN of a public news service.  If this is indeed a service open to the public, maybe you could share with others here so that others could see if there's a similar issue when they try to reach the same URL.
