I am using Astaro at home. Haven't had too many problems but the wife was complaining that her website pinterest (I know....) is not loading. The main login bar at the top loads but everything else is blank. Upon looking at the source code I see all the code is there. After a while I determine that the following file link in the source is the culprit when web filtering is turned on. I have tried adding an exception and transparent mode skip list but it still does the same thing. Not sure how to get around this.

The requestor is not willing to accept the available resource. This is probably due to an Accept-Encoding header on the request. The standard available Content-Encodings are: gzip, compress, deflate and identity. Footprint 4.8/FPMCP

    This looks like a server issue.

    I've done a quick test, and the the link you posted seems to only work when I use the header 'Accept-Encoding: gzip'. This violates RFC 2616, the Accept-Encoding header is optional.

    AFAIK the proxy never sends an Accept-Encoding header.

    Interesting. Thank you for checking. Is there anyways to bypass the proxy for certain sites? the exception box didn't help. Don't want to have to turn web filter completely off.

    Assuming that you're using the Transparent proxy, add a DNS Host for passets-lt.pinterest.com to the 'Skip transparent mode destination hosts/nets' on the 'Advanced' tab.  Give the Astaro a few minutes to resolve the DNS host, and then you should be fine.

    Just wanted to mention that I was having the same problem, and the solution posted by BAlfson worked for me.
