How to block QuakeLive game site

I need to stop students accessing QuakeLive site - other sites with keyword Quake are successfully blocked by the content filter; however access to QUAKE LIVE
seems to resist any blocks (filter rules) I have in place.

Anyone has any advice? Thank you

Hi, you should be able to block the url itself, right?

What are you using as the filter terms or regex?

Hi Barry

I tried to add URL and wildcards for quake live and quake. Only Quake Live seems to go happily through.

Oh - we just seemed to find out why - it is a part of filter opened for hotmail.. .*live

Try changing the hotmail filter to something like

.*\.live\.com

so that the dot is specified (e.g. www.live.com)
