Adding AD Group to Web Security Department

Is it possible?  Would rather not have to sift through 600 users to filter out 60 of them - especially when it's already taken care of in AD.  I am able to add users but it's not letting me add the group.

    It sounds like you're mixing apples and oranges. [;)]

    Here's an example of a Backend Group that works with AD-SSO in Astaro: 

    Also, you might be interested in a newly updated KnowledgeBase document: HTTP/S Proxy Access with AD-SSO (Caution, the section "Configure User Authentication" should be eliminated as it has no effect on AD-SSO and can cause problems in larger organizations).

    Yes, I have backend groups configured.  I am trying to run a Web Usage Report (Logging & Reporting --> Web Security) for a specific group of people (AD group - configured as a backend group in Astaro).  

    I see that you can run a report for a specific department in the WebUI, but you first have to define the "department" under the departments tab.  I can add individual user to the department but not the backend group.  

    I guess what I should be asking is how do I run a Web Usage Report for a specific backend group?

    You know, I didn't even look at the title of your thread until now.  What you want to do is a Feature Request (in German, but this is exactly what you want), and one that I believe is overdue.  If you want to put in a suggestion in English, I'll move my vote and ask the admins to merge the German-language suggestion into yours.

    You're right - at present, you must use a local group.  You can populate it with users synced from the AD, so it shouldn't take longer than a few minutes to do for 60 people.

    Well, I did both - added my vote to the German site and created one in English.
