URl Filtering - block certain sites

Good morning gentlemen,

 We implemented an Astaro 220 here in the company, and did the setup for a long time, when all sites were allowed.

 Today, I am manage security, and I want to block some sites, but I have a small doubt!

 The version of my Astaro V7 is like and I think that was never done an update of the product.

 As far as the firmware is 7510, when I try to include the sites it is not blocking!

 need to lock the product updated?

    Hi, and welcome to the User BB!

    You will need to Up2Date to V8 before the end of the year, but, for now, you should be able to accomplish your goal with V7.5.  You definitely should apply the 7.511 Up2Date.

    Please [Go Advanced] below and attach a picture of your settings on the 'URL Filtering' tab.  Also, in the 'Content Filtering (HTTP/S)' log, find the line related to a site that should have been blocked, and copy that line here.

    Hi,

     Thanks first to respond,

     I'm new to Astaro settings, and I think I am sinning in some configuration.

     I did the inclusion of sites that want to block, selecioneu the category, but even so it does not block.

     I was checking on the advanced tab, and I thought if the Transparent mode SkipList might have something to do with it.

     I will not post the logs, because he does not pull anything!

    Yes, you must remove your two LANs from the 'Transparent mode skiplist'.

    A short lesson on the web proxy...

    When the proxy is in "Transparent" mode, the 'Transparent mode skiplist' applies, but only HTTP (port 80) traffic is handled.

    Only when the proxy is in "Standard" mode does it handle all of the services listed in the 'Allowed target services' list on the 'Advanced' tab.  In "Standard" mde, the 'Transparent mode skiplist' does not apply.

     But the problem is this, if I get the LAN to SkipList I have, it blocks all sites!

     I need some sites to be blocked.

     I'm putting the sites on the blacklist, but does not block!

     NOTE: I did not create profiles proxy

     What would be the step by step (example) to block some sites that want
     ?

    Start by removing everything from the Transparent mode skiplist.  Start the Web Filtering Live Log.  Try an access that should work.  Post the line from the log showing the blocked access.
