Google Image Search Leak

Hi Folks,

Our students in school use the web filter plus the Google Safe Search option set on the Astaro.

In Google Image Search They have searched for the term "blindenhund" which means guide dog in German.

What they are seeing is this: (please see the attached screenshot).

We blocked the "ariva.de" URL where the picture originally comes from and you cannot enter this domain. But you still can see the picture. Is there a way to remove pictures from blacklisted URLs in this Google Image Search?

Astaro is a web content filter not just a URL filter, so it should be possible?

    Have you tried blocking the google url for this image? Not sure if the url is static enough for that, but it might be worth a shot (e.g. images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRXIG83EOuTSv8y4SzQD91ws6F7AyoV-qyX-b5Qk9h0P6aMqSVF-Q ).

    (The safe search enforcement doesn't help you because google still displays the offending image when 'strict' is used, and blocking ariva.de is not enough since the preview thumbnail is hosted by google)


    Edit: Your browser might also cache stuff even after the ASG successfully blocked the image, so make sure you empty your browser cache when testing this.
