Blocked File Extensions Precedence

Does the blocked file extension list under Web Security>>Web Filtering>>AntiVirus/Malware>>"File extension filter" override the settings
on a Web Filtering Profile if "Use Anti Virus Scanning" is on but the Blocked file extension list is empty? I am a bit confused which settings have precedence

    No, those don't "override" Profile settings.  This is a great question because it's another situation where Astaro documentation lacks a How-this-works overview.

    In a Proxy Profile, you can select the "Default content filter action" - that is the settings on the 'Anti-Virus/Malware' and 'URL Filtering' tabs in 'Web Filtering'.  So, the only time the settings on the tab apply to a Profile is if the client qualifies for the Profile and is assigned to the "Default content filter action."

    The other four tabs in 'Web Filtering' apply to the Default and all Profiles.
