Authorisation agent (AAA) doesnt seem to be working

I have install AAA on the PC and entered the user/password into it and got it to autostart after logon.
When I start Firefox it still asks me the username/password and works fine after I have entered it.
Am I misunderstanding, I thought with AAA loaded I wouldn't have to do that?

    What is your Web Security set for?  What is prompting you? Is it an Astaro login page in the browser?

    It's set to standard mode, scan SSL, basic user authentication
    Firefox prompts me for auth when first loading any web page (not astaro)

    Set the Profile to "Agent" authentication.

    Hi, I am also trying to use the AAA. But so far It is not working. The browser has the ASG set as proxy. The AAA is installed on the PC with the relevant user credentials set. The web filter global options are set as follows - 

    Internal networks allowed
    Standard mode
    Authentication : agent

    Astaro message displayed in browser - Authentication failed, then the browser has the authenticate pop up.

    I have checked the credentials of the user and these are correct as they were the same details that I used to log into the user portal to download the AAA.

    I have now tested this further using users from eDir gorups and local users. What was actually blocking the AAA - authentication denied errors - was a proxy profile timed event, I disabled the proxy profile for testing. So in a single user environment it works very well, in a multi user / hot desk environment it does not.
