We have two asg525 running active-passive mod with v.8.300. We have web filter enabled for our library computers so that students can use them for their research not for hours of facebook etc. But the problem is "social networking" category does not block facebook and some other known sites. They seem "uncategorized" in web filter logs. If I choose to block uncategorized sites, then they simply cant open lots of legit sites. So I start to dig it more as it seemed something is wrong.
I started to watch proxy live log and I saw what is wrong; every url thet hit the proxy seems uncategorized in the logs; google.com, facebook.com, microsoft.com etc. I use local content database for about 6 month and it was working ok. It seems 8.300 update broke it but I am not sure.
So how can I fix the issue?
