Google Safe Search with Firefox - does it work?

I tried using the Google Safe Search with Firefox but it doesn´t seem to work.
I have enabled Safe Search, I have defined some categories but the search gives me results I don´t want to see.

What else is needed?

    I think that you're misunderstanding what SafeSearch is.  Chosen categories have nothing to do with SafeSearch, they are just configured on the same Tab in WebAdmin.

    From the Admin Guide:  
    SafeSearch: You can enforce the usage of SafeSearch for the search engines Google, Bing, and Yahoo. The SafeSearch filter removes content from search results that is not appropriate for children, such as offending or illegal material. If enabled, users surfing via the Web Filter are unable to turn the filter off.
