for no obvious reson I had problems with the httpproxy (running in transparent mode) today. It suddenly used up 100% cpu, and a load average of over 40.
I had to kill the process with "top" to be able to access webadmin and turn off webfiltering completely. I then upgraded from 8.201 to 8.202, rebootet and everything went smooth again even with turned on webfilter.
2 hours later I experienced the same problem again. httpproxy taking all the cpu time and i wasn't able to load webadmin or anything. luckily I could still login via ssh-shell and kill the proxy again.
So I turned it off completely now and added a firewall rule to allow http traffic. Everything working so far. However I do need the proxy to run!
There was not much traffic on the box at all when it happened.
Anyone got any hints?
I will contact my reseller tomorrow as I sadly don't have any direct connection to astaro.
