I have a client who has a 110 or 120 and her reseller/consultant who sold her the unit is more or less refusing to let anyone other than himself administer the box.
He also said that the unit is going to expire for network security / standard support this month.
She is at the point where she is going to dump the whole unit for something cheaper (and far more basic) which we would be able to administer.
I have two questions;
- Assuming the support lapses, what effect will that have on the unit?
- Another question is, assuming I can reset the box, would I as a non-reseller be able to administer the box and/or purchase or renew the maintenance?
