Point patch for 8.201 Web Proxy issues now available

Astaro Support has now publicly posted a point patch which fixes several issues in the Web Proxy for Astaro 8.201.  It only fixes the issues listed and nothing else.  If you are not experiencing any of the problems listed, then do not install and wait for the 8.202 up2date to be released.  If you are a Home License user, you will not have access to support if you experience any issues with this patch, so think carefully if you really NEED it.

Hopefully this will help to alleviate issues for some Astaro users.

    I had plenty of time this weekend, so I decided to play with the 8.201 and did a fresh install using ISO.  I spend about an hour putting all my old settings, which I took a screen shot from 8.103.  Everything seems to work fine except for my laptop using wireless.  I could not get to the Internet without disabling the web proxy.  Hopefully this will fix with the next release 8.202.

    Installed 8.201 ISO on a new motherboard, added the point update all is working well except I still can't mozilla  to download.

    Wireless using AP30 works fine.

    I downloaded ff6.0.2 from a non mozilla site and it worked fine.

    I spoke too soon.  Internet comes and go.  Guess I'll just have to wait til the next release.

    You may be affected by one of the many WiFi problems fixed in v8.202. Reverting to 8.103 until v8.202 is released this week would be the best bet I think.

    I want to thank you for posting this. I actually reported this issue early on
    18880 Edir SSO authentication still times out in http proxy after 8.201
    I asked multiple times during the beta for them to look at this and never got responses. They kept saying it was my side that was the issue. I kept saying it could not be. I am glad that this patch has finally resolved the issue. I now am starting to play with app security and like it. Wanted to in the beta but could not since it was so hard to get them to look at it. Hopefully future beta's they will listen better.

    Hi guys,

    8.202 should be soft-released this week and addresses most of the issues raised with the 8.2 release. @Bruce, your  spoof protection bug fix is indeed included.
