another wired thing, I set the http/s proxy in the ASG 8.201 as standard mode. So all clients normally have to put the Proxy IP and port in the browser settings to surf the internet.
But that's not true, I can also set "no proxy" in the browser settings and I can also surf the inet althought "standard proxy" is selected and not transparent mode, because then this would be normal but it isn't.
Also always wondering why i can surf with my android phone where i don't have the option to set a proxy that easy and it was working aswell and no exception was set. Now that's the answer for that... [[;)]]
So what's wrong? Is it a bug? Also rebooted the ASG twice an reapplied the settings.

Edit: I'm sorry, had an paket filter rule enabled for network -> surfing -> any. So disabled that rule and it worked, but I don't understand why this paket filter rule "disables" the proxy somehow. For me it's a bit mindblowing, because I think when I disable that http traffic rule, no http traffic will be allowed. So for me I think this rule must be enabled to surf the web and then the proxy has to jump in....
Maybe someone can explain that to me [[;)]] why such an paket filter rule allows bypassing the proxy setting...
