[8.201] No one can download mail from gmail, windows live mail with mail clients.

Can you post the relevant FW in place? When you are trying to download emails via outlook do you see any blocks on the firewall log? Anything on the IPS?

No, I don't see any block in the fw, I disable for test porpuse the IPS, and the Port Scan protection.

If there's nothing blocked and nothing arrives, it would seem to be a routing issue - don't you think?  Is the ASG the default gateway fo the PCs?

Thank's for your reply, the entire network has an 192.168.0.0/23 network, have's an windows server with Active Directory, the dhcp server was enable, I modify the scope, so the gateway it's the Asg, the first dns too, my lotus notes client can send and recive mail without problem, but notes doesn't use pop or imap, I try with both protocols on gmail and wmail and same issue, regads.

Verify that the settings in the client are correct.  Both gmail and msn require encrypted secure connections and will not allow standard pop (port 110) connections.  For gmail with Outlook the proper settings are:

If POP isn't working properly for you, please ensure that your settings are identical to those listed below. Even small differences may prevent Gmail's POP service from functioning properly.

E-Mail Accounts tab

Your Name: (optional)
E-mail address: (your Gmail address, including '@gmail.com')
Incoming mail server (POP3): pop.gmail.com
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.gmail.com
User Name: (your Gmail address, including '@gmail.com')
Password: (your Gmail password)
Remember password: (optional)
Log on using Secure Password Authentication: disabled
More Settings: Outgoing Server tab

My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication: enabled
Use same settings as my incoming mail server: selected
More Settings: Advanced tab

Incoming server (POP3): 995
This server requires a secure connection (SSL) enabled
Outgoing server (SMTP): 587
Use the following type of encrypted connection TLS
Server Timeouts (Greater than 1 minute, we recommend 5)
Leave a copy of messages on the server disabled

Hi Scott thank's for your reply, this is already check, for testing, them have a Fortinet with wifi (the one who astaro would displace) so if you connect to that one you can synchronize the gmail or the hotmail account, the Fortinet have's another public ip address,

1)  Take that Internal (Network)-->ANY-->WAN allow rule and order it to #1 and enable logging on it.

2)  Check Application control and country blocking settings

3)  Check MASQ and NAT rules.

4)  Are you trying to use these through the Astaro POP3 or SMTP proxies?
