FTP Server behind a ASTARO ASG...

now im soon giving up.
i have tried 4 tre days to mapp a port to a server

4 testing i have placed the ASG in my existing network.


internett
router - PC / HTPC/ other
ASG
Server

i cant reach the FTP server from the computer before ASG.

i have created a DNAT rule.
Any - FTP-  External Network/
D.Translation ftp server
A.P.F.R - cheked
I.P.A.L -  uncheked

In the live log i can se that traffic in port 21 is droped if i unchek the automatic packet filter roule.

when i checked it again the trafic is going thougth the FW but no connection to the FTP server is made...

Some help is needed.

    Check the Web Filtering log would be the first step.

    BTW, if I might make a suggestion.  Since you bought this box from your company IT department, it might be much quicker and more efficient to offer a six-pack and some pizza to one of the IT people to come over for an hour or two and help you with initial setup teething pains. I'll bet that a lot of home users would give their left eyeball to have a local resource like this.
