Before I took over the reins here there was a proxy set up for certain users to be able to access the internet unrestricted.
Firefox was installed and under the settings wit was set up to use the ASG ip as a proxy on port 8080. Everything was running fine and all of a sudden user were prompted for a username and password from the proxy.
I do not know how this was set up on the fire wall. I was told there was somwhere that the password needed to be changed on the firewall.
Under Web security-HTTP/S- misc settings is set to port 8080 and parent proxy along with use proxy authentication are both unchecked.
From reading the forums it seems like there is an easier more effective way to do this but that is for down the road. Right now i am just trying to get this operational again.
