Hello all. I have been using my Astaro firewall for couple years now. I am running firmware 7.504 and pattern version 12411. My firewall has run perfectly on an old Dell box with 1gb of ram for over 2 years now. I remember how to do a few things there and there but most stuff I have forgotten since I never have to mess with the box. With that being said, try to go easy on my if I ask a stupid question or two, ok?
We have been streaming Netflix for over 8 mos now and just recently I started having problems streaming Netflix on my TV and my Western Digital Live TV Plus box. If I turn off my HTTP Proxy Status, everything works great so I know there is an issue with the firewall. Odd thing is that my PC streams Netflix perfectly regardless if the Proxy is on or off.
I have created an Exception of Netflix movies to skip everything. The targeted domains for this exception is netflix, movies.netflix.com, netflix.com, netflix.net, llnwd.net,,edgesuite.net apl.netflix.com - I honestly do not know what to do next other than leave the HTTP Proxy disabled. I have anti-virus software running on all of my PCs but always liked have this Astaro proxy running as just another layer of protection. But my 3yr old really enjoys the family movie section of Netflix.
Any advice on what I can check, change or do here?
