No entries in application control log

Hi,

I just upgraded my test environment from v8.103 to v8.2 and testing now the application control facilities. I created a rule to symply block googel web service and the site will blocked as expected with the message 'The URL you have requested matches a forbidden application.' But there are no messages to see in the 'Live Log : Application Control' window as well as there are no entries in 'Logging & Reporting > Web Security > Application Control'.

Do I have missed something to configure or what is the purpose of these logs and reports?

Do you enable "Web Filtering"? I have same problem after turning on the "Web Filtering".

While disabling "Web Filtering", the log of "Application Control" returns.

I don't know if this is a bug or not?

It seems to be a bug when updating from v8.03 to v8.2. When instaling v8.173 Beta, updated to v8.174 and upgrade to v8.200, the reporting of the Application Control works as desinged. See also https://community.sophos.com/products/unified-threat-management/astaroorg/f/110/t/71165

It seems to be a bug when updating from v8.03 to v8.2. When instaling v8.173 Beta, updated to v8.174 and upgrade to v8.200, the reporting of the Application Control works as desinged. See also https://community.sophos.com/products/unified-threat-management/astaroorg/f/110/t/71165
