DNS Host vs DNS Group in Transparent Mode Skiplist

Good morning...

What is the difference between a DNS Host and a DNS Group as far as the transparent mode skiplist is concerned?

What is an example of the best use of each?

I have looked around but cannot figure it out.  It might be too obvious?

Thanks in advance...

  • A DNS host maps the first name server A record to an IP.  If the name server has multiple A records for an FQDN, the DNS Group definition will include all IPs listed in A records.
