I'm using the ASG V8 for a couple of weeks.
I've installed it on a ESXi 4.1 with 2 NIC's.
Before that I used a 100MB Belkin router(5 years old).
When I download from a newsgroup with Grabit (example) I got
a average download speed +/- 1800KB/s.
Now with ASG I got a average download speed of +/- 600KB/s
I turned almost every option off and it has no effect on the download speed.
The usage from the ASG dashboard is most of the time 1% to 3%.
RAM usage never coms over the 60%. And the disk usage is very little at the moment.
In vSphere it looks like everything is just working fine.
When I check the download speed with Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test it's coming very close
to what my provider is providing.
How can a increase the download speed for newsgroups?
Or is there a limit somewhere?
