I'd like to setup a bandwidth quota per IP address for websites like YouTube and Pandora. I can't completely block them (denied request by upper management) but we want to lower bandwidth per personal usage. For Pandora, a straight bandwidth limitation for each day or week is fine since it is 100% personal but with YouTube we would like to have a filter for music videos but allow employees to use to for "research". Music videos are basically all we want to block/limit on YouTube.
Is it possible to have the ASG page come up for everything on YouTube asking the employee if this is personal or work related and allow them to proceed if its work related? If so, then is it possible to limit the usage if they say personal?
Also, we can track the bandwidth per IP address and how much is being used per domain BUT is it possible to track where they are going within that domain? AKA, just a more detailed report instead of just listing the domain with stats.
Let me know whats possible here!
We are using a ASG 220.
