Microsoft download manager

Don't use the download manager? [;)] Just kidding!

What does the Content Filter (HTTP/S) log show for that failure?  What is the exception?

here is what I see when I start the download either from the web or the download manager (both error out)


rl="crl.microsoft.com/.../Microsoft Online Services GFS CA2 .crl" exceptions="av,auth,content,url,mime,cache" error="" 


now im not sure if the above has anything to do with the download or not, but this is all i see microsoft wise when conducting the download. 

Thoughts?

There's a lot more information in the rest of the log line... didn't I ask nicely enough? [;)]

Strange - I wonder if the downloader makes stuff look like streaming content.  On the 'Advanced' tab, do you have 'Bypass content scanning for streaming content' checked?

Maybe someone else has an idea, but it's beginning to look like an application that doesn't play well with proxies...

The download manager works on other ASG's and I do the bypass scanner checked.

In that case, James, I definitely would not let it go through that proxy; the logfile indicates that it doesn't like to be watched! [;)]

That's what I thought, but I am in the exception list and it does not work for me. I will run another test tomorrow and post me results.
