We have a problem that now is occuring for almost over a year (or even beyond?) but we always managed around it. Meanwhile it has become such a pain in the neck that I want to have it solved - with your help?
We use an ASG320 with v.7.509 yet plus web proxy port 8080 for all users.
When the users want to upload files on websites like
mediafire.com
yahoo.com
prezi.com
fw-notify.net
upload.youtube.com
glogster.com
timetoast.com
dipity.com
the user is being shown an authentication window in the (whatever) browser:
"Connecting to [name of the astaro device]." that requests a password and login.
As a work around we add those websites to an exception list which is:
Skipping: Authentication / Caching / Extension blocking / MIME type blocking
That helps. But we always have to be present in case someone finds a new website that needs to provide upload functionality as soon as possible.
Why is this happening? Is there a major solution to it?
Please share your skills with me in order to fix that :-)
